Brothers maybe?
I love his scraggly hair. I used felted alpaca sweater edging, just like in this owl. I had to dye this piece though, to get it a man hair color.

All my favorite stops on my internet rounds are showing signs/hopes/projects of Spring. I am still stuck on something that I’ve been thinking about since last October. Finally-
Last Halloween, a lumberjack seemed to be the favorite last-minute costume. The whole lumberjack idea got stuck in my head. I cut out and sewed up a pile of Tattooed men last week (they are in the waiting to be stuffed stage) and decided I was not going to put the pattern away until I’d turned those ideas into something solid.
The same as this one but different (body pattern). And this one, but different (costume).

The hair is made from a cotton fabric that I over-dyed with dark brown. I had to over-expose this photo so you can actually see it.
I found a new photo wall- hurray! And it is not blocked by snow!
Ben and I took a mini tropical vacation on Sunday. We drove down to Connecticut and visited Logees and breathed in some warm, humid air. It was wonderful.
I’ve been getting some wonderful reports of new owls!
Peglee of Jeanlee dolls sent me some photos-
Martha at Quiltcontemplation–
Thanks for sending the photos-they are wonderful! I’d love to see anything you’ve made from my patterns and I am going to start posting them here on the blog. Thanks!
