Two things are going on here. 1. When I do a tiny world class, I make a few demo parts. Then, after the class, they haunt me until I put them all together. 2. And, since I made the pattern, I have been thinking that I ought to focus on making tiny worlds that are different. So, a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

I taught another tiny world class yesterday. It was a great day for it- overcast and cool. Perfect to gather with friends and do a project! There were 9 students all together, but, as usual, I forgot to take photos and only have a few of the projects to show.
In the morning, we all worked on little houses-
After lunch we made our “hills” and put them all together. Here are some that got finished- sorry for the not-so-great photos.

Everybody did really well. Each person was able to do something unique which made it their own. It is so much fun to see what people come up with.

Now that the market is past, it is time for catch-up in all parts of my life! There were a few things that I finished up at the end of last week that never made it to the blog.
I made 3 more Tiny Worlds-
This one looks like a cabin in the woods to me. I tried to give it a foresty look.
Very fancy cups can be a challenge to work with. This one looked like it needed a snow scene to mellow it out.
I sold one of these at the Market, but will put the other 2 plus the one I made for the pattern, onto Etsy later today.
I have started two new groups over on Flickr- one for tiny worlds and one for Purl girls. Come and join in the fun, get inspired or just enjoy the photos. I would love to see what people make from the patterns! The groups are pretty sparse right now, but hopefully there will be loads of photos soon!
I have finished 2 more tiny worlds so I now have 4 finished. I will be putting them into my etsy shop this afternoon.

– I am thinking about attending the NIADA conference again this year. Anybody else? I hadn’t thought about it, but the other day, I was fixing my website links page (it had disappeared for some mysterious reason) and clicked on the site. I haven’t been to the last 2 and now I am thinking it is time again.
I am going in too many directions these days. My head is full of studio fantasy thoughts, lists of everything that needs to happen in the studio room before it is ready for occupancy (file this in “trials of living in an old house”), dolls, how to do printmaking without a press and stay true to my work… not to mention spring and gardening thoughts… and that is just the top of the pile. So, I end up spending too much time on the computer instead of moving forward with anything!
When I was getting ready for my class, I made various parts and I figured I might as well finish them up. So, there will be a few more tiny worlds in the next few days.
Big excitement of my day- I now have 2001 hearts on Etsy! I am feeling very <3 ed- hee hee!
