Step by step. These photos are from my phone- sorry about the bad focus on some.

Step 2- 10 are sewed up and ready to be turned. 7 are bagged and put into the fish bin for later.
Step 3- turned right-side out.
Step 4- stuffed and finished!
And there will be more fish tomorrow!
Chicago trip
Setting up on Saturday morning.
View from the front.
And view from inside.
It was a fantastic weekend- Thank You so Much to all the people that came out and said hello! Unfortunately I am usually completely distracted and afterwards wish I’d asked for a business card or something. Just know I appreciate everyone who visits!
I got home on Tuesday evening and went straight to the studio to get back to work. I am in flat-out work mode, getting ready for Crafty Bastards in less than 2 weeks- Yikes!
#2 lady
tattooed lady
The first of the ladies is done and is with me in Chicago. Yes, I got here yesterday!
This toile is the last of a piece I bought in Paris, 3 years ago.
A vintage button for her belt buckle.
Renegade Craft Market and other news
My life is very busy and exciting lately! This coming weekend, I will be in Chicago for the Renegade Craft Market. I hope some of you will come out and say hello!
And, today my appearance on Liz Smith’s (MadeinLowell) cable TV show went live. Believe it or not, I wasn’t totally cringing when I watched it. It just didn’t feel like I was watching me. Weird, eh? Liz is amazing and all her shows are super interesting.

There is even more news- Check this out! I am going to be part of a weekend Art retreat in NYC in March- a collaboration of the Makerie and Sweet Paul Magazine. How fantastic is that! Check it out here and sign up to get more information. I am SO excited to be part of this event!
And what else? I am teaching the Tiny World Pin Cushion at the New England Quilt Museum on September 21.
I’ll be going down to Washington, DC for Crafty Bastards at the end of the month. All the info is here and a link for discounted admission is here.
Yes, things are crazy busy around here and that is fantastic!
another little fox girl
I just had to make another one because that little fox doll is TOO cute!
And some details- the jacket has flower shaped buttons and a lining made from the same fabric as the skirt I am wearing today.
And here is the little fox- front
and back!
Her dress is made from vintage (from my Mom’s stash) Liberty lawn.
